Ford Mustang

For generations the Mustang has provided accessible performance, iconic styling and practicality at a reasonable price. Now in its seventh generation, the Mustang continues to appeal to a broad range of buyers. Though its 5.0-liter V8 might be the easy choice, the EcoBoost turbocharged four-cylinder helps keep the price down and can still be a lot of fun. A much-needed new infotainment system transforms the interior and should help keep the Mustang looking and feeling current for years to come.

Ford bronco

The Ford Bronco Sport is one small crossover that can tackle terrain and look good doing it. Technology and usable space are also strong points. However, the Bronco Sport struggles to meet expectations in several areas that rivals have long mastered such as ride comfort, rear passenger space, and confident steering and braking, Cashing in on the excitement around the resurrected Bronco, Ford released two Broncos in 2021: the big one that goes toe-to-toe with the Jeep Wrangler, and the smaller Bronco Sport. The Sport is a Bronco in name only; underneath the retro bodywork are the same mechanical pieces that make up a Ford Escape. But the Bronco Sport is more than just an Escape playing dress-up. Available exclusively with all-wheel drive, it also boasts some genuine off-road tech and capability, making it one of the most capable compact SUVs when the pavement ends.

Ford ranger

The Ford Ranger, with its high-quality cabin, comfortable ride and helpful driver assist features, smooths out many of the rough edges of traditional truck ownership. Impressively, it does so without compromising on towing or payload capability either. It's a great pick for a midsize truck.

Ford Explorer

The 2024 Ford Ranger is fully redesigned. This new generation introduces changes and updates that significantly improve this midsize truck. It's easier and more comfortable to drive while providing plenty of capability for doing truck stuff, such as towing a trailer or a bunch of gear in the bed. The 2024 Ranger also has a nicer-looking cabin that's fitted with a lot of Ford's latest technology and driver assistance features. Ford has simplified this generation's lineup — you can only get the truck as a crew cab with a short bed, for example — but there is a new hardcore off-road model called the Raptor.
